Rama II - 1932 Harrison Butler Sabot class
My own boat - but a typical story.....

Rama II was built by Robertsons on the Deben in 1932. A very pretty shoal draft gunter rigged cutter, with auxiliary engine. She features in Dr T H-B's book, "Cruising Boats". Undergoing a partial restoration in the late 1990's with photographs to show, she has never been completely finished and I simply do not have the time to do her justice. Freshly fitted rebuilt Yanmar 1 GM10 single makes her much more useable, and she now has new stainless standing rigging and new running rigging. She has a sea loo and lovely (unused) Origo spirit stove. 2 berths, chart table and standing headroom if you are under 3 feet tall!

She needs a fresh mainsail, an engine box and the foredeck is definitely soft - so do be aware that she would not be suitable for heavy weather ocean adventures!
(Outboard now sold.)
