Built 1961by Dixon Kerly. Designed by Alan H Buchanan. Long keel. Carvel mahogany planking, copper fastened on oak frames. Hardwood deck coated with 'Coelan'. Vetus 11hp diesel engine (new 1993). New mainsail and fuling genoa 2000. Over past 20 years "Saljahan" has enjoyed an ongoing programme of refitting and upgrading of equipment. Steel floors replaced with laminated timber and keel bolts inspected 2002 and replaced whre necessary. Presented for sale in very good order
A classic Buchanan design that has been well loved in current ownership and given much pleasure sailing the waters of the East Coast and near Continent. Reluctantly offered to the market because of need for larger yacht.
