Built 1998 all GRP by Ron Atherton of The Humber Boat Company with over 50 examples of class constructed. Traditional long keel with encapsulated steel ballast. Epoxy coated below the waterline as osmosis protection measure. Gaff rigged with new sails by Jeckells and headsail furling system 2005. Honda 4-stroke 10hp outboard engine (new 2005 and still in warranty, professionally serviced 2008). 4- berths in single cabin with toilet.The Classic 23 is a very well built yacht of modern construction with pleasing lines. This example has been lightly used and carefully looked after and maintained. With her reasonable shoal draft and easy handling she is ideally suited to river estuary and estuary sailing.
