The relentless advance of anno domini causes my retirement after twenty two years of yacht broking.
It is with reluctance that I hang up the oars that have rowed Temple Marine (Brokerage) through the calm and sometimes stormy waters of boat broking. Those years have, however, given me immense satisfaction and the chance to meet with both buyers and sellers, and turn those contacts into friendships which I so hope will endure after my retirement.
I say “retirement” but happily I will be continuing my long association with Harbour Marine Services of Southwold, Suffolk and assisting Proprietor John Buckley to expand the broking service operated from his Blackshore office and he is looking forward to welcoming new listings from owners of all types of craft.
HMS has built up an excellent reputation for the quality of its restoration of classic yachts and motorboats plus refurbishment/repair of vessels constructed in GRP and steel and most importantly, offering real traditional values of excellent service and customer support.

I would like take this opportunity to give my grateful thanks to all of you who have conducted business with Temple Marine over the years and especially those who gave such welcome support and kindness when actions forced our move from the Tidemill Yacht Harbour several years ago.
I will always be most happy to hear from you and indeed, hope I have enough “cells upstairs” left to offer advice if needed!
