The GM 15.
At 15 feet long, the Cygnus 15 is the smallest model and is a pure traditional shaped hull that is exceptionally easy to row or power with a 4hp outboard motor.

The Cygnus 15 foot boat has a variety of applications including as an oyster fishing boat, a recreational rowing boat, a tender boat, for club racing and for steamboat conversion.

The GM 16
The GM16 is a 16 foot boat which is a robust modern development of the Traditional Cornish Cove boat, with a carrying capacity of a normal 17 foot or 18 foot boat. These craft are used as workboats, purse seine skiffs and as a pleasure craft. They combine the qualities of an easily driven hull with a stable and seaworthy performance, to achieve a versatile and very popular result.

The GM16 is available either as a basic hull shell in the owners choice of colour pigment, partly fitted out or fully completed to an owners exact specification.

The GM 19
The CYGNUS GM19 is a sturdy inshore fishing vessel and workboat, suitable for single handed working and all year round use.

The design features include a high upright stem with a fine waterline entry, full round low bilges, full displacement long keel and transom stern. This combination produces a stable and seaworthy hull of exceptional quality.

Working off a beach is easily done and hardwood bilge keels will enable the craft to dry out in an upright position. A moulded cuddy is also available and the gunwales can be built from maintainence free GRP or more traditional hard woods.

The GM 22 & GM26

The GM22 & 26 are a sturdy inshore fishing vessel and workboat, suitable for single-handed working and all year round use.

With Gary Mitchell’s iconic style of design, the craft has the maximum possible deck space for the overall length, since its beam extends as far aft as possible, providing the perfect working platform for carrying and safe shooting of all types of gill nets, pots and fish traps.

Below the waterline, the hull-form presents a very beamy boat with a flatter section aft, but by having a broad V-shaped vertical keel section, there is sufficient volume inside the forward section to take the engine completely below deck, giving this boat a very large working deck and the option of a moulded shallow or deep keel.

This combination produces a stable and seaworthy hull of exceptional quality.
