Set up by Peter Temple nearly 20 years ago, Temple Marine (Brokerage) has worked hard to establish an excellent reputation for professional yacht and motor boat brokerage.

2010 sees some changes, not least of which is a new location. After many years in Woodbridge, we decided to relocate to Southwold working closely with Harbour Marine Services. This means we can now offer hard standing and wet berths to display the boats properly.

Harbour Marine are on hand for professional advice on boat building and repairs, electrics, electronics and mechanical servicing.

We are open 7 days a week from 09.00 to 17.30.

Existing clients will be pleased to know that Peter is working harder than ever! A devotee of traditional wooden motor boats, Peter is on hand to chat about James Silvers, Rivas and anything with a heart and a motor!

Tim has been looking after the IT, including this website, for the past 4 years, and is now full time at Temple Marine. Tim also loves wooden boats, but prefers sail to power. His own boat is a 1932 Harrison Butler, and prior to that had a ketch rigged Liverpool class lifeboat (1933), so if it's sticks and canvas, Tim would love to chat.

Gill, who arranges viewings and liaises with clients has spent the last two years managing a full restoration of a 19th Century Dutch iron 'Skutsje' sailing barge which she now lets as holiday accomodation.
